Lyrics

Cursed be the Ground

The Lord formed man from  dust of the ground (Gen 2:7)

breathed life into his nostrils

and Man became a living being

God planted a garden east  in Eden

The Lord Commanded the man, of every tree (vs. 16)

In the garden you may freely eat

But the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil, don’t try

For the day that you eat or it, you shall surely die

God caused Adam to sleep so he slept (vs. 21)

He took one of his ribs and closed up his flesh

[And] the rib which the Lord had taken from man,

He made into a woman, and Adam said

This is now bone of my bone

Flesh of my flesh, She’ll be called woman

Man’ll leave his parents, unit to his wife, they

Both were naked and felt no shame

Cursed be the ground (2:17)

For your sake

You’ll work till

Your back breaks

You’ll have thorns

‘stead of Sweet herbs

(from) dust you came

And to dust you’ll return

Now the (3:1)

Serpent was the more cunning than any beast of the field

And he said to woman, has God indeed revealed

Every tree of the garden you aren’t free to try

She said every tree but one, if we eat it, we’ll surely die

Then the serpent told Eve a lie

If you eat you won’t surely die

God knows that in the day you eat

It will open your eyes (Like God on High)

So she saw it pleasant to her eyes

Desirable to make one wise

So she took its fruit and ate

And to her Husband she gave..

Cursed be the ground

For your sake

You’ll work ‘till

Your back breaks

You’ll have thorns

‘stead of Sweet herbs

From dust you came

And to dust you will return

God said, (3:14)

To the serpent “‘cause of this,

You’re cursed more than all cattle,

All the days of your life, you’ll eat dust

And you shall go

On your belly

I’ll put enmity

Between your seed and hers, He’ll

Crush  your head, and you’ll bruise his Heel“

Cursed be the ground

For your sake

You’ll work ‘till

Your back breaks

You’ll have thorns

‘stead of Sweet herbs

From dust you came

And to dust you will return

Hypocrites

Shall the potter (Is. 29:16)

Be esteemed as the clay;

For shall the thing made say

of him who made it,

“He did not make me”?

Or shall the thing formed today

of him who formed it, say

“He has no understanding”?

Pause and wonder! (vs. 9)

Blind yourselves and be blind!

¡Embriagaos!

They are drunk,

But not drunk with wine;

They stagger, but not with drink.

For the Lord has poured on you a deep sleep,

Kept the eyes of the prophets closed

Therefore, Thus said the Lord

‘These people (Mat.15:7)

Draw near to Me with their mouth,

Honor Me with their lips,

But their heart is distant

Hypocrites

In vain they worship Me,

Teaching rules of men as doctrines.’ ”

Therefore hear the (Is. 28:16)

 word of the Lord, you scornful men,

Because you’ve said,

“We’ve made a covenant with death,

And with Sheol we are in agreement.

The gushing flood won’t reach us when it sweeps by,

For our refuge we’ve made lies,

And under falsehood ourselves we hide”

Therefore thus says the Lord God:

“Behold, I lay a stone in Zion

a cornerstone, for a sure foundation;

Whoever believes (in it) will not act hastily.

I’ll make justice the measuring line,

 hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,

The place you hide, the waters will overflow

Your covenant with death will be annulled,

Your agreement with Sheol will not stand;

When the overflowing scourge passes through,

Then you will be trampled down

As often as it goes out

it will take you;

morning by morning,

by day and by night;

It will be a terror just to understand the report.”

Therefore, Thus said the Lord

‘These people

Draw near to Me with their mouth,

Honor Me with their lips,

But their heart is distant

Hypocrites

In vain they worship Me,

Teaching rules of men as doctrines.’ ”

Therefore I’ll, (29:14)

Once more, I’ll astound

These people with another

Marvelous work,

A wonder

Wisdom of the wise, will die

The understanding of their prudent men, I’ll hide

‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,

Honor Me with their lips,

But their heart is distant

Hypocrites

in vain they worship Me,

Teaching rules of men as doctrine.’ ”

Living Bread

The voice of one crying in the wilderness: (Is. 40:3)

“Prepare the way of the Lord;

Every valley shall be exalted

every mountain and hill brought low;

Make straight A highway in the desert

The Lord’s glory’ll be revealed

all flesh shallll see it together;

For the mouth of the Lord spoke.”

“Behold, I send My messenger, (Mal 3:1)

And he will prepare the way before Me.

And the Lord, whom you seek,

Will come to His temple, suddenly

His winnowing fan is in His hand, (Mat 3:12)

He’ll thoroughly clean His threshing floor

Gather wheat into the barn; burn the chaff with fire unquenchable.

 Who can endure the day of His coming? (Mal 3:2)

And who can stand when He appears?

He is like a refiner’s fire

He’ll sit as a purifier

And purify the sons of Levi,

And purge them as silver and gold

That they may offer in righteousness

 an offering to the Lord

Who’s ascended into heaven? (Pro 30:4)

Gathered the wind in His fists?

Bound the waters in a garment?

Who has established

all the ends of the earth?

What is His name,

Or His Son’s name?

You know (it) certainly.

I am the resurrection and the life, John 6:51

He who believes in Me, though he may die,

He shall live. Do you believe this?

I am the living bread (11:25)

which came down from heaven.

If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever.

Hard Pressed on every side(2 Cor 4:8)

Yet never crushed, yet we survive

Through one man's offense (1 Cor 15:21)

I’m made to die

Through one man’s death I’m made alive

Persecuted, we endure (2 Cor 4:9)

Struck down but not destroyed

Hated like those sent before, Who (John 15:18)

Made it through the narrow door (Luke 13:24)

...before we were born (Eph 1:4)

...before the world was formed

Chosen… to be conformed

...To the One firstborn

Of our inheritance

God Not sparing Him (Rom 8:32)

...But Just for us, He delivered Him up

That He should die

That by His blood I’m justified

Then sanctified, then glorified

The Holy Judge is on my side

Who shall bring a charge against us

Who shall condemn God’s election

God Himself ‘s my intersession.

Not Persecution

Not Tribulation

Peril, famine, nor distress

Nor nakedness

‘Ll Cause separation

As it’s written in time long gone

For You sake We’re killed all day long;

Counted as sheep for the slaughter

Yet through Him these things we conquer

Not life, nor death,

Nor powers, nor things now

Nor things to come

Not Height, nor depth,

Nothing thing created

Could separate us from God’s Love

I am the resurrection and the life, John 6:51

He who believes in Me, though he may die,

He shall live. Do you believe this?

I am the living bread (11:25)

which came down from heaven.

If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever.

Valley of Bones

The Hand of the God, came upon me (Eze. 37)

Brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord

Set me down in the midst of a valley

And behold, it was full of bones

Then He caused me to pass by

And behold they were very dry

He said, “Son of man, can these bones live alone?”

So I answered, “O Lord God, you know.”

Then again to me He said, “Prophecy

Say O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord, Surely I

Will put sinews on you, bring flesh, cover you With skin, and in you  put breath

You’ll live and know for sure,

I am the Lord.”

So I

Called upon the bones

The words I know

And behold the skulls

Began to shake to make some noise

Began connecting bones to joints

(bone to bone, bone to bone)

As I said what You told me to

Upon them grew flesh and sinews

Then You said next, “Call to the breath”

So I did, then the four winds

Came rushing that the dead could live

And before me stood an army

They said that

Our hope is lost

Our bones are dry

We are cut off

But

God

Opened up our grave

So we could live

To hear truth proclaim:

“Forevermore, I am the Lord.”

Your (Is. 26:19)

Dead shall live Together with

My dead body

Awake and sing, (all) you who dwell in (the)dust

For your dew is like the dew of herbs

The dead are cast out from the earth

Take refuge from the coming Judge

Come, my people, enter your chambers,

Shut the doors behind your back;

Hide yourself, as it were, for a moment,

‘Til the indignation’s past.

For behold, the Lord comes out of His place, certainly

To punish the people of the earth for their iniquity;

So I

Called upon the bones

The words I know

And behold the skulls

Began to shake to make some noise

Began connecting bones to joints

(bone to bone, bone to bone)

As I said what You told me to

Upon them grew flesh and sinews

Then You said next, “Call to the breath”

So I did, then the four winds

Came rushing that the dead could live

And before me stood an army

They said that

Our hope is lost

Our bones are dry

We are cut off

But

God

Opened up our grave

So we could live

To hear truth proclaim:

“Forevermore, I am the Lord.”

Kiss the Son (Psalm 2)

Why do the nations rage,

And the people plot a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves,

And the rulers take counsel together,

Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

“Let us break Their bonds in pieces

And cast away Their cords from us.”

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;

The Lord shall hold them in derision.

Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,

And distress them in His deep displeasure:

“Yet I have set My King

On My holy hill of Zion.”

“I will declare the decree:

The Lord has said to Me,

‘You are My Son,

Today I have begotten You.

Ask of Me, and I will give You

The nations for Your inheritance,

And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

You shall break them with a rod of iron;

You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”

Now therefore, be wise, O kings;

Be instructed, you judges of the earth.

Serve the Lord with fear,

And rejoice with trembling.

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,

And you perish in the way,

When His wrath is kindled but a little.

Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him (Trust in Him)

Now therefore, be wise, O kings;

Be instructed, you judges of the earth.

Serve the Lord with fear,

And rejoice with trembling.

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,

And you perish in the way,

When His wrath is kindled but a little.

Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him (Trust in Him)

Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

But there were also false prophets (2 Pet. 2:1)
Among the people, Even as  among you,

There will be false teachers

Who’ll secretly bring destructive heresies,

Even denying the Lord who bought them, and Bring swiftly

Destruction on themselves and many

because of whom the way of truth’ll be blasphemed.

In greed will exploit you with made up stories

Their condemnation’s been hanging, destruction doesn’t sleep

For if God did not spare angels who sinned,

but cast ’em down to hell, and delivered them in

to chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;

turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes,

Then the Lord knows how to deliver out of Temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment (en el día del juicio)

For the day of judgment,

(But) by their fruits (Mat 7:16)

you shall know them

Do men gather grapes from thorns,

Or figs from thistles

Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn And thrown into the fire

Many will say to Me in that day,

 ‘Lord, Lord, did we not do(have we not done) Many wonders in Your name?’

Then to them I’ll profess,

“You, I never knew; depart from Me,

you who practice lawlessness!’

But these, like natural brute beasts (2 Pet 2:12)

Of instinct made to be caught and destroyed, blaspheme, speak evil of things they don’t understand, and like beasts

They too’ll perish and receive

The wages for the harm they’ve done

They count it a pleasure

To revel in the midday sun

They’re spots and blemishes,

Carousin in their deceptions, While they feast with ya

Eyes full of adultery, can’t cease from sin,

They have a heart trained in

Covetous practices,

And are accursed children.

They have forsaken

The right way

And gone astray,

These are wells without water,

Clouds carried by a

Tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

(But) by their fruits you shall know them

Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles

Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn and thrown into the fire

Many will say to Me in that day,

‘Lord, Lord, did we not do

Many wonders in Your name?’

Then to them I’ll profess,

 “You, I never knew; depart from Me,

You who practice lawlessness!’

Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, (Mat 7:15)

but inwardly they are ravenous wolves

But by their fruits you shall know them

Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from Thistles

Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn And thrown into the fire

Many will say to Me in that day,

 ‘Lord, Lord, did we not do many wonders in Your name?’

Then to them I’ll profess,

“You, I never knew; depart from Me,

you who practice lawlessness!’

Vanity of Vanities

Vanity, all is vanity (Ecc. 1:2)

What profit has a man from all his labor,

In which He toils under the sun

I set my heart to know (vs.17)

Wisdom then I perceived

Knowledges increases sorrow

Much wisdom is much grief

To everything’s a season, (3:1)

Time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, a time to die

A time to laugh, a time to cry

A time to kill, a time to heal

A time to break, a time to build

A time to keep, to throw away

A time to love, a time to hate

A time for silence, a time to speak

A time of war, A time of peace

(Vanity of vanities)

Vanity of Vanities

what’s been is what will be,(1:9)

What’s done’s what will be done nothing

New under the sun

The race is not to the swift, (9:11)

Nor the battle to the strong,

Nor bread unto the wise,

But time and chance unto them all.

As it happens to the fool (2:15)

Dies and is forgotten soon

Likewise the wise man dies

And is forgotten too

To everything there is a season,

Time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, a time to die

A time to laugh, a time to cry

A time to kill, a time to heal

A time to break, a time to build

A time to keep, to throw away

A time to love, a time to hate

A time for silence, a time to speak

A time of war, A time of peace

Nothing is better (2:24)

for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and

that his soul should enjoy in his labor.

This also, I saw, was from God’s hand.

A time to dance, a time to mourn

A time to gather, and cast stones

Time to refrain, A time to embrace

A time to lose, a time to Gain

To everything there is a season,

A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, a time to die

A time to laugh, a time to cry

A time to kill, a time to heal

A time to break, a time to build

A time to keep, to throw away

A time to love, a time to hate

A time for silence, a time to speak

A time of war, A time of peace

Let us hear the matter’s end (12:13)

Fear God, keep His commands

For this is the whole duty of man

God will bring into judgment every deed

Including every secret thing,

Whether good or evil.

You are gods

God stands in the (Ps. 82)

Congregation of the mighty

He judges among the gods How long will you Judge unjustly

And show partiality to the wicked?

Defend the poor and fatherless, do justice to the needy

“Defended al débil y al huérfano:

Haced justicia al afligido

Y al menesteroso, Librad al necesitado

Libradlo de mano de los impíos”

They do not know

Nor do they understand

They walk about in darkness

While the foundations

Of the earth are shaken

I said you’re gods And

All of you, all of you are

Children of the Most High

But you shall die

Like men

And fall like one of the princes

Arise O’God judge the nations

“Because your heart is lifted up, (Eze. 28:1)

And you say, ‘I’m a god,

I sit in the seat of gods,

In the midst of the seas,’

There’s no secret that can be hidden

from you!  With your wisdom

You’ve gained riches

gathered gold and silver in your treasuries;

Behold, therefore, I’ll bring strangers against you,

Ruthless nations;

And they’ll draw swords,

And pierce your splendor.

Down to the pit they shall bring thee

 You’ll die a violent death in the heart of the seas.

“Will you still say before him who slays you,

‘I am a god’?

But you shall be a man, and not a god,

In the hand of him who slays you.

You shall die the death of the uncircumcised

By the hand of strangers

I said you’re gods And

All of you, all of you are

Children of the Most High

But you shall die

Like men

And fall like one of the princes

Arise O’God judge the nations

Praise the LORD!

Patiently I waited for the Lord; (Ps. 40)

He inclined, And heard my cry.

Brought me up)( out of a horrible

Pit, out of the mud and mire

He has put a new song

In my mouth—

Praise to our God;

Blessed is that man

who makes the Lord his trust,

And does not respect the proud,

nor turn aside to lies

Many, my God, are

Your wonderful works,

Which You’ve done;

And Your thoughts toward us,

Can’t be counted in order;

They are more than can be numbered.

Praise the Lord (Ps. 148)

From the heavens;

Praise Him in the heights!

All His angels;

Sun and moon;

Stars of light too

Let them praise the name of the Lord

Praise the Lord (vs. 7)

From the whole earth,

Fire, hail, snow and clouds;

Cattle and fowl

Old men,

Maids and Children

Let them Praise the name of the Lord!

Praise the Lord (Ps. 149)

All that has breath

Let Zion’s children joy in their King.

Let them dance; Let them sing

Let them Praise the name of the Lord

Sacrifice and offering (Ps. 40: 6)

You did not desire;

My ears You’ve opened.

Burnt offering You dont require.

I delight to do Your will, O my God,

And Your law is (written) within my heart.”

I’ve proclaimed righteousness

Indeed, I don’t restrain my lips,

O Lord, Don’t withhold from me Your mercies

Let Your love and Your truth preserve me.

Innumerable evils have surrounded me;

My iniquities overtook me, and I cannot see

Therefore my heart fails me.

O Lord Be pleased, quickly help me!

Let all those who seek You

Rejoice and be glad in You

Let such as love Your salvation

Say continually,

“The Lord be magnified!”

But I am poor and needy;

Yet the Lord thinks upon me.

You are my help and my deliverer;

Do not delay, O my God.

Praise the Lord

From the heavens;

Praise Him in the heights!

All His angels;

Sun and moon;

Stars of light too

Let them praise the name of the Lord

Praise the Lord

From the whole earth,

Fire, hail, snow and clouds;

Cattle and fowl

Old men,

Maids and Children

Let them Praise the name of the Lord!

Praise the Lord

All that has breath

Let Zion’s children joy in their King.

Let them dance; Let them sing

Let them Praise the name of the Lord

Let them Praise the name of the Lord!
