Christ the Covenant

 
 

Outline:

The Christian trusts in God’s promise and covenant because He created all things.

 

The earth is not flat, nor does the Bible teach that the earth is flat.

Recognize that the Holy Spirit governs all creation.

 

The Christian has entered into a Covenant with God through Jesus the Christ the Mediator.

 

God Established His Covenant with the world by graciously sending His Son to be the Christ.

 

This was the Father’s purpose before the foundation of the world.

 

This was to display God’s righteousness.

 

Jesus came to execute the righteous purpose of the Father.

 

The Christian recognizes their position in the covenant to be caused by God’s gracious action, from beginning to end.

 

A Christian knows that he cannot save himself.

 

God graciously grants godly repentance.

 

The Christian understands that Jesus is the Covenant between God and Man.

 

The condemnation of the Covenant of works:

 

But God, being gracious, made a promise:

 

To Adam

To Noah

To Abraham

To Moses

To David

To His people in the New Covenant.

 

Jesus is the essence of God’s gracious covenant between God and the world, sealed by the blood of the Son of God in the New Covenant.

 

The body of Christ desires to see sinners enter into this Covenant.

 

The Christian praises and worships God alone.

 

The nations rejoice in Him as they come to Him.

 

God is a zealous warrior for His purpose.
